The sliding windows on either side of my pilot house get really sticky and bind up the weatherstripping. Is there some sort of lubricant I can or should be using in the channel? Something that will make it slide back-and-forth more easily.

Silicone spray after you wash the salt out of the tracks. The silicone will displace the water and leave a smooth surface for the slider....

I use the 3M silicone paste and recommend it. I use it on the car window channel, caliper brake slide bolt, use as dielectric grease for electrical, etc.

50 gallons of KY, Asstro-glide, or Analeaze should do the trick.

    You're welcome.
