I'm not sure which one it is, if it's A or B. I need to find the identification tag.
Rallying troops...! Bump...! 23 days before launch...
Is one of the valve covers taller than the other two? It still might be an a series (past owner/builder converted Ccv to b style) but I think all b series have the one tall valve cover. The tag should be on port side (opposite the dipstick side)
Looks like an 'A' series to me
The aftercooler looks like it may be leaking get that looked at asap
5days left bump
I had hoped to go but ended up not going. Did anyone take pictures?
So what did I miss?
Did it happen. sure like to read a report and see some pics,,,gregg
If all goes to plan, I'll be there for next year on TunAssasin
I guess this event didn't happen, I hope you try again I would like to go
Is this event happening in 2018? Would love to rally some skippies at the island this summer!
We can certainly tee it up. Didn't have enough interest last year.
Let me know if there's anything I can do to help get it going
Thats cool. Yeah we'll just breathe life into it as we get closer.
It could happen, if the WSB are bitting!
Caught a 30+ pound WSB on the island last week. Only took 10 hours to get bit after sitting in the same damn spot allllll day
10 hrs with no action!
I'm not sure I would have stayed.
Squid or fin bait?
I mean, don’t get me wrong, it wasn’t totally stagnant. Released probably 10 barracuda while jigging, a ton of calico (including one of the biggest calicos I’ve seen in real life and accidentally dropped it in one of the bait tanks while trying to release it - must have been heaven and hell of sorts for him - that was some dumb action). Started fishing around 5am on the backside. Finally caught the WSB around 10, then got too excited and waited out for another one. We didn’t have anywhere else to be besides the mooring and had enough beer to get us through. Got some action, but not really what we were looking for
Live squid from the Carnage. Small bait, but it held up pretty well for a couple days
Anyone interested in getting this going?
