We kept then real cold on ice so it would not smell an attrack flys, caught 3 days ago 50 line going to try the same spot in the morning. We put put o them ut only at 5 pm. Talk about Bloody Decks, place a towel on deck for the blood drips.

Some trick or treaters love it. some are just stunned and girls say ewww!

no one beleived they are real , so I say touch it great fun! big hit!

What the hell would the cops do? Is it illegal to hang a tuna carcass above your front porch?

Yes. California Penal Code 481327, sect. C, prohibits public display of any game animal carcass, including fish....look it up!

I'd like to think police officers have better things to do with their time. Now Federal Agents and DFG folks don't have much sense of humor so you could get hosed. But good to know there's an applicable section. I doubt that's one of the many sections that got watered down by Prop 47 so you'd likely get hammered harder than a tweaker that breaks into your car.

Hilarious!! All in good fun for Halloween. I have to remember this one. In my neighborhood it would attract cats and then coyotes but what the hell?

No but forgot to take the one off the palm tree last night. so I guess all the pedistrians walking on the sidewalk either figured it out tha it was Halloween or they thought I was Colonel KURTS up on the Mekong.

I burried the rest under the palm trees for fertalizer last night. I woke up late and did not want the wind to stop us from going to the 55 line this morning. I was in a hurry to get outside before the wind left at 830 am went to the 181 which was dry no life . The water was a tad green/blue 49/55 and then the deckhand made me turn in after I mentioned. "hey there is San Clemente" not the same deckhand ) as the last The waves steep close windchop 3-6 maybey 7 foot swells but not to bad went out at about 11-13 knotts water 67.3 to the warmest point. Stuff at 20 miles but not sure if it was just bait some birds there a nice dolphin school with birds but Nada.
Trolled the ridge for the last trip of my season ( for tuna) , unless this stuff comes back from the hafl moon to full this month.

great post on the flys , but no flies for some reason, just in the kitchen while canning them in jars.

Lokks like SD will have to invent a new Penal code.
