The snook and reds were gorging on mullet and pilchards as the tide started to come in. I couldn't believe how good the action was. We literally sat in one spot the entire time and caught fish for 2 hours.

Whereabouts?
Primarily north Indian River and south Mosquito Lagoon. Used to be so much grass that at times it made for some challenging fishing(and poling for us skinny water enthusiasts). But also the reason for so much incredible fishing as well! Still some pretty good fishing albeit sometimes not in the same places...

Yeah I've heard about the seagrass loss. Where I grew up in Alabama had the same thing happen, too much seagrass loss. There is some around Perdido key and Ono island but most of it is gone.
