Calico was one of probably a dozen. Fishing hard bottom Baja on my 6 day in Sept. White bass in cooler are actually pretty decent sized. Super scrappers. And smallies at 6000 feet elevation. Definitely of size to compete in a tournament out here. Couple of largemouth as well for good measure. Wish I could get some of my ole calicos from back in the day but this is what I can share from my phone. Good thread

    New way to fish spotties image.jpg image.jpg Newport with no kelp to be seen, had a few followers with fish looked to be 6lb plus pretty cool felt like at an island
