Amazing boat and awesome crew, we have a awesome angler list as well everyones extremely friendly and personable. Can't wait to fish tonight! Yesterday they had over 90 bluefin. More to follow as we are heading to the bluefin grounds as we speak. Wish us luck boys! More to follow!

Just got back. We had around 35 bluefin for the boat and a few yellowfin. We fished the 43 on the high spot and got to the spot around 6 in the evening. All the fish bit around 7 am and it completely died around 10 am. We didn't hook one fish after 10 am. So 35 bluefin for us I caught 3 buddy got one.

The highlight of the trip was fishing with nick cates. Don't know if you guys remember him, but he use to run the New Lo Ann back in the 90s and his son till this day runs the Red Rooster 3, anyways I caught my first tuna with him at the helm nearly 20 years ago. Here's pics Ducksgo out!

We got one on the flatfall jig. The fish were plugged up with crab and weren't really eating. I swear you would hook a bluefin and it would feel like a rockfish. They were just to fat to even put up a decent fight. I've caught rockfish that fought better then this school at the 43

Heading out tomorrow morning on a 3 day. Did going light line help? How was the bait? Any other last minute tips?
