I looked at the SI ramp today on my weekly trip to West marine, and it looked open! One side of the dock was fenced off, but I saw a boat dropping in! Finally...tired of glorietta bay.

The pay stations should be operating by March.

50,000 boat launches annually at 5 to 10 bucks each. Port will be making money in a few years.
Worth it. The old launch was beat up.

I have heard zero talk about this becoming a pay ramp. I have used it my entire life and would hate to see it go that way. Major inconvenience when you start adding shit like that. You are probably joking but if you have any info please do tell. As for people being “OK“ with it, I just can’t understand why you would encourage them to consider it.

It will not be a pay ramp. I have been involved with this ramp from the beginning and they know there would be a giant public outcry if they tried to implement a pay ramp.

Most of the money come from the State anyway through 2 grants so there is no need to try to recover any capital.
