It's the cartel's new staging port. They don't want tourist watching the operation. And we think cali is screwed up! I wonder if anyone who made this decision realize that people who enjoy nature, especially fisherman and divers, are some of the people most concerned with conservation of these amazing places.
They have cartels literally shooting .50 cals at planes and dropping grenades from drones but kicking out paying tourists and hurting local economies is a priority.
And please don’t start the “their country their rules” argument. I get it.
Don’t really trust your judgement on ocean ecosystems or Mexican economics. Using shekels. Haha.Sport boats went in there and fed all those beautiful big tuna to those great whites totally distorting and damaging the ecosystem…Mexico doesnt need the few shekels from gringos…get out and stay out
AFTCO is coming out with one,
That the opening just rolls up , with no zipper .
Because?
Dorado sushi?
SO, I was in the sushi bar the other night and I asked the sushi chef why you never see dorado sushi? :profile: I got a dog-watching-TV look... followed by WTF is a dorado? I'm thinking it's fairly mild like YT, so why not? Maybe it's not...www.bdoutdoors.com

Perhaps you intended that as sarcasm, but if not, where do you come up with this stuff. Only one place I can think you might be pulling it out of.Sport boats went in there and fed all those beautiful big tuna to those great whites totally distorting and damaging the ecosystem…Mexico doesnt need the few shekels from gringos…get out and stay ou
I believe a world record yellowtail was caught at Guadalupe. Not sure if the record still stands but with the closure, the other home of record YT is the banks near Alijos rocks where my personal best was caught fishing deep.I’m thankful I experienced Guadalupe Island fishing when I could. The biggest tuna weighed in at 123lbs and escaped the ‘tax collector’ as the ever present GWS were distracted by dive boats chumming to attract them to the steel cages lowered with divers inside. I did get ‘rocked’ onetime fishing 100lb test and a live mackerel and it pinned me to the rail as it pulled against a fully set drag. After a short balls to the walls attempt to get out of it’s rocky home, all I was left with was some worn and frayed line and sore muscles from the bang bang short experience and a Guadalupe fish story to share here on BD!
