I am leaving Tuesday on the SOA for an 8 day. Wonder if we are going to fish bluefin at SCI, Cortez and Tanner. Maybe we can make Guadalupe before it hits?

Even if it passes through before that, the rains are going to do some damage U think and the runoff is going to suck.good luck

It's a parking lot at SCI right now . Just got back today from fishing the island on the New Lo An and we got 110 Bluefin for our efforts. Awesome haul for our 2 3/4 day . Nothing under 40lbs most over 50 to 65 lbs !!!

Nothing wrong with those numbers. 40-65 is a lot better than the footballs I saw on the dock last fall

I know Sergio is old news by now but I made the bold prediction that the models were wrong, I said Sergio would not make a U-Turn and the Shogun 10 dayer would not impacted. Well Sergio made the U-Turn and we could not fish either the Rocks or the Ridge. It did impact our trip but for the better.......we stayed at Guadalupe and had very, very good YFT fishing. Most fish were about 60#s but there were enough 90 to 100 pounders to make it interesting. The big fish were 170, 125 and 125. Even a 65# plus YT was caugh plus many more 20 pound fish. We went into the beach at Canoas for YT and Dorado. Then ended the trip behind SCI for 44 BF with about 12 in the 50# range. Great weather and great fishing. Thank you Sergio, you did impact our plans but for the better.

Looking forward I will stick to fishing, this weather forecasting is not my thing!
