Hauled End Game down to Mission Bay on Monday. Made it to the parking lot by 1000 hours. Every parking spot was full. Parked by the curb up from the ramp and started rigging the boat for our evening departure. Watched the entertainment at the boat ramp, (better than sliced bread!) and spoke with the returnees about conditions and fish for the next several hours. Launched at sunset and went over to mariners basin and tossed out the anchor. At 2300 went to the bait receiver and got a scoop of very weak bait and did a blistering night run to the 371 at 9mph.I started trolling towards the 425 from the 371 and as soon as we put out the trolls we were immediately slammed with skipjack. Could not ever go more than a minute without a double or triple, but it was all Skippy's. About half way to the 425, I turned south to the Upper Hidden Bank. Skipjack and more Skipjack, so I turned west and the water was swimming pool glassy and 70F. The further west the warmer it got 74.8F was the maximum I encountered.. Skipjack and more Skipjack until finally a small Dorado about ten miles shy of the Sixty Mile Bank. I saw the water start to change so I turned north the the anchorage at San Clemente Island. Within 30 minutes it went from glass to a miserable in you face short interval toilet bowl. I could not go any fast than 9 mph but eventually made it to SCI. Went hunting for the big guys with trolls and a kite pulling a Yummee but no luck. I counted 27 boats in the 'zone' . Balloons, kites, Big boats, small boats they were all there hoping for the best, as were we. I made a great device for holding a balloon to the kite and it was fun trolling with the kite. All of the usual radio shenanigans, people lost, people sinking, people being dressed down for encroaching on a paddy without permission, yup all of the same stuff as usual. About sundown I made the 75 mile run back to the ramp. I spoke with a couple of different people that found this huge paddy and loaded up. I had fun. I am tired.....Ap IMG_5310.JPG IMG_5311.JPG IMG_5316.JPG IMG_5318.JPG IMG_5326.JPG IMG_5330.JPG IMG_5338.JPG

    Nice report!

The real question is was that thong used by a hot chick before you requisitioned it?

The 2nd question is why am I even asking that question?

    :D
