Now this thread had been dead for a little while, but I figured since we are only 2+ weeks from getting on the boat I could revive it. I'm super stoked and can't wait to share the rail, some 🍻 and some 🐟with all you guys... Seems like things are starting to pick up let's hope it keeps going that way

    ************************************************** ************

I just received a call from Chris Bullard who updated me with a report from Capt. Tyler who just returned from an offshore trip.

Tyler reported that he just got back from an open party trip and the anglers lost over a 100 big tuna (50# +) due to the following: old line, not enough line on the reels, reels too small for the fish, tangles, inexperience, lack of cooperation, et al.

Tyler recommended that our SenorTuna charter use at least 30 to 40# test and make sure you have plenty of NEW line on your reels. They were using 1/0 and 2/0 hooks.

Tyler said the pelagics are there and our group may have an opportunity to do some serious damage to the fish.

Tyler also added that coming back up the line, the sonar picked up huge schools of tuna, larger than he has ever seen before.

Things are coming together for an epic SenorTuna trip this weekend, so be forwarned that you need to have at least one 30 to 40# rig, if you want to be a player.

    Booooooooooooooooooooyaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!!!

P.S. We will have a tailgate at Seaforth Landing on Friday, if you are on this trip please click on this link:

    Hi David....

Paper plates, napkins, plastic utensils, etc. would be great. You will be there earlier than most, so please pick out a place where we can set up our tailgate. I will be bringing some tables to set up. You can call me at 310.420.3220.
