Hi BD Fam

I need your help in identifying a seeker rod. I recently purchased the rod fairly cheap. The label on the rod says 870H-8 and there is no seeker log but when I removed the cork tape, it says seeker model 270H-8. Not sure what model is it? The color of the rod is honey kinda like the calstar west coast. Thank you for your input. Appreciate it

Most likely a the guy that wrapped it probably mislabeled it. If the seeker label says 270-8H, it is rated for 15-40lb and it is the go to rod for SoCal saltwater. Great pickup!

That and the 196H were classic series. From the mid 90' all around great rod. My digging for info lead me to 95 when they made the 196H-8 for a short period of time. Before then changing the label to 270H-8 around the same time. Great live bait rod!
