Went out of Shelter Island yesterday to hunt for some fish and picked up some bait on our way out. I was concerned about the quality after reading all the negative posts. Well....the bait (sardines) was great!! Nothing rolled and we were on the water from 4am to 4pm. We worked the 425 up to the 9 and beyond. We saw only a few trash can size paddys but did pick up some Dorado when my son spotted some terns diving from a distance. Good to have young eyes on the boat. Thanks Dave (Bold #7) for a great day on the water.

what you said about the terns is a key for fishing dorado with out kelps to clue you in.
if you see a tern flying and looking down get your bait/ jigs out in front of it....they can spot a dorado 50 feet down.
