That's sounds like with all the variables .... you have a lot of luck, or skill, to get the scope in the exact position, withe the same tension on the mount screws every time... hats off to you...
Yes, it does. That's why I stated the previous requirements, I would not recommend this to someone with a basic rifle setup. I spent a lot of money on my gear and that was one of the purposes of paying that much.

I think you should take off your scope off as much as possible. That way you will probably never have it quite the same for each hunt, and then you will probably miss more animals and then I will have more left to kill. :D
