I've been taking care of my 90 y/o moms bills for several years.
Everyother month she'd call and ask if a certain bill had been paid. Usually SDG&E or Cox. Every time I'd tell her they were paid.
Well, her caregiver quit and now I'm taking care of her.
And I got the call today. Weird accent on the guy. And a terrible phone connection.
I played along, and listened to his pitch.
He said her SDG&E bill was $998 for unpaid bills since July.
I asked if I could drop it off at the SDG&E office in el Cajon. He said no. I had to go to one of 2 7/11's in El Cajon. And I had to buy 2 money orders. I was also supposed to call him from the parking lot of the 7/11 so he could walk me through the process.
He told me that shutoff was emanate and asked when I could go down there. I told him I would leave right then and call when I got there.
    I didn't go anywhere.
An hour and a half old Thomas called back. Asking why I hadn't made the payment?
I told him I knew he was full of shit. And he was a piece of shit scanner. And if I could find him I'd squeeze his scrawny lil neck. Sadly, that's when he hung up.
If they're calling my 90 y/o mom. They have to be calling others elderly parents.
Keep an eye out for your family.
Tomorrow I'll post his name and 619 number. I'm sure hed like to hear what a fine job he's doing.

My last assault case was 25 years ago. Lakeside used to be a fun town.
I'm getting a little old for that now.
    I just shoot them now.
Good call. If you're close enough to beat him down you're close enough to have him give you covid-19. You need to play safe these days.
