Kinda late report. Left CHI 7/19 @ 4am with 3 scoops sardine/anchovy mix. Arrived SBI 7am and started working east side anchorage area. Marks but no takers (chumming hard). Calicos (small), cudas, nice 10# sheep and same size lost to dogs.
Worked hard all day but no YT for us.
Anchored up for the night and within 15 minutes started marking and put a 20# WSB on the boat. A few barracuda and then a twin WSB which can be seen on screen streaking up to the bait (sardine). Saw a couple yellows caught near us around the same time.
Saturday worked the area again with little luck (small calicos, barracuda, and a bonita) didn't help that we were shy on bait so couldn't chum heavy.
Still no YT for us but, not a bad runner up catch and collar bone dinner.

Cool shot of the WSB streaking up to bait - I've never seen that before.

Nice pair of seabass Greg! I'm sure you will get those yellows here soon enough and miss the wsb biting. Hope to hook up soon out there with ya.
