Albies, YFT, BFT, skippies, bonies. Whatever you saw, you didn't make any claims of catching them without a pic to prove it. You obviously saw something, and who gives a rats ass what flavor they were. IMO and I am no expert by any means, I believe tuna are migrators of specific ocean territories depending upon species. Not sure if "home-guard" tuna exist on high spots, or we may have to read more about that theory. Thanks for the report.

Lost at best! Haven't had a good Albie trip in at least 10-15 years, or as long as I can remember, which seems to be getting shorter by the day.

I'd bring some 25-30 maybe a 50lb rig with you for you and your son.
The majority of yellowtail are 5-20lbs and bluefin, if they bite 15-30lbs.
As for locations read the reports, take down the #'s etc. I too get current
input from mostly private boater reports here as well. I fish most always on
tuna boats out of San Diego, not local anymore. GOOD LUCK FISHING!

I'm recovering from an old guy on bike hits tree branch dodging bimbo texting accident with my
bionic metal arm. LOL Haven't been able to fish. Soon. Doc said no surgery today! I'm grounded.
