Morning Leslie, I just got back yesterday,
And, I’m getting caught up on some
Stuff around the house, when I do I
Will post it.
here we go,
I will do my best, but if you don't like how I write ,
then please don't read it
I left Tuesday Morning with Two good friends , and headed South
to San Quintin , on the way we had A little car Problem,
with A miss Fire , and we found A Honda Dealer,
in Ensenada , and cleared it up, then back on the road for the rest of the Ride,
then we Stopped in S .Q for Beer witch was limited with Brands ,
but they had plenty of Bud Light and Dos XX,
then we Arrived at Don Eddie's ,
and checked in with Tony
and he Speaks great English, witch made the whole stay there great ,we unloaded everything in to are room,
then went to there Ristorante for dinner ,
and they bent over backwards to please us,
its not Fancy ,but the food was Great,
the next morning we met Kelly and Christian, he would be our Capitan
for the day, so we loaded up quickly ,then headed out of the Bay ,
then we started close to the mouth for Bait,
witch was tough because the wind was already blowing pretty good ,
but we ended up caching enough for the day,
then we started out heading North to some high spot for some Cod,
it was tough at first with the drift being so fast,
but Christian used the Boat to slow down the Drift,
then we picked up some Huge white fish,
with Squid ,then we started using the Mack's ,
then we Boated Four nice Lings,
pretty quick, then it was time to head back closer to the Mouth ,
because the Swell and wind was getting worst,
after A while of putting A few more Cod on the the Boat,
A few Sandie's ,that were big ,we had some Ponies close by ,
so the Christian taught it would be smart to Troll
ones we got out ahead of them ,
so we put A Pink Mirro Lure on on our heaviest
setup witch was A Baja Special with A 50 LB top shot,
because we just brought down setups for Yellows and Cod,
not planning to Target the BFT at all ,
with in 10 Minutes It gets slammed ,
and we start chasing it down ,with 6 to 8 foot swell ,
and blowing like crazy ,
when Robert was almost spooled,
he pick up A big strand of Kelp ,
and that was to much for that line,
then the line broke ,but that was exciting ,
so we Trolled again ,putting a 80 Lb. leader on ,
but no more hook ups after 20 minutes ,
so we heading in ,then we had our fish clean ,
then headed back to the Hotel and cleaned up,
then went back to Don Eddies ,
for another great dinner , then we hit the sack pretty early,
because we were pretty beat up ,after A god night Sleep
we woke up with the Wind really Blowing ,
but we went to the Boat Ramp to find out from Kelly ,
that our trip was being Canceled ,
because it was to Dangerous to go ,
so we waited for Christian to return our gear ,
because we left it all on the Boat ,
thinking it would make it easier for day 2 ,
so after he showed up, we packed up pretty quick and headed north,
and ended up spending the Night just north of Ensenada, at A good
Friends place that was Gated , and Guarded witch was nice to brake up the ride ,
and after dinner , we chilled out ,then had A good night Sleep ,
and woke early to get through the Boarder in A Hour and A half,
but over all, not the best Fishing we Though we would have ,
but Staying at Don Eddies ,and Tony taking care of it all
while we were there , made the Trip Special,
if you haven't been there yet , your missing out,
thanks again to all that made this Trip Special.

Thanks for the report. I used to fish SQ 3 to 5 times a year back in the 80s and 90s. Love the place. What hotel do you stay in? How was the road?
