Awesome trip. Puro cabrilla! I'll be there next month. I wouldn't have recognized Brent if it weren't for the dorado/Baja tattoo I did on his arm. Good stuff!

NIce fish! When is the best time for cabrilla fishing? How is the cabrilla fishing during the summer? Does it get windy during the summer?

    Thanks

Cabrilla is good in the Summer and winds are calmest. The area can get monsoon moisture as times but not that common. When the water gets super warm its pretty much sierra, cabrilla, and maybe the occasional offshore dorado or even sailfish (rare). Yellows like it cooler and dont get that big there like LA Bay. Oh yes, its hotter than shit in the Summer. My fav month is Oct, Nov.

Nice report Juan, you should have continued north to Laguna Percebu. The Orange mouth Corvina were biting and we got a couple over #25 from the beach. I had some motor issues and didn't get my boat working 100% until Wednesday, sorry I missed you guys...
