Got a long shot question here.... I drew a D16 tag for my first deer tag. Wondering if anyone has any private land connections that I could checkout? Probably going to get laughed out of this room but I’m new to hunting and want to make the best attempts at actually taking a deer this season.

PMs much appreciated and/ or any advice on what general area to consider on public lands as well.

I tried this route before, the old days are gone as hell. Fish and Game has a trespass form they can ask a hunter for or a letter from land the land owner allowing me to hunt.
I had a parcel of land that I was allowed to hunt on and made the mistake of telling someone about it. They bought the land-no more hunting there.
Several other owners said there was too much liability even with me offering any type of hold harmless they wanted, still no go!

I could go on and on but will refrain and just say good luck.
I was on a hunting lease in Texas once and they had a two page agreement with lots of stuff in it mostly safety and non responsibilities etc.
