    My nephew Cole was fishing his kayak at the mouth of the harbor on a nice sand bass bite and my Brothers and I were fishing the back bay for winter Bonefish. We were fishing eel grass in 1 to 4 feet of water. 7 foot rod with 4 pound test line and live ghost shrimp we pump that morning. You have to stay on the move and hunt them in the muddy brown water in the back bay. We just started to get them to go when Cole calls my brother with the news.

    Great fun watching you and Dicky, Corey! Hope to see lots more 2017 videos. So sorry about Cole and his gear but happy he did not get more seriously injured. Speedy recovery to Cole and tight lines to the whole family! Will

    So the Navy can swamp you without regard? I can see the distinction of emergency vessel/personnel. But to endanger one to potentially save another. Makes no sense.

    In the Sherifs report the two navy drivers say they never saw Cole. They were running side by side and got with in 15 feet of Cole's kayak. Cole said he had no time to react and the combination of the two boats wakes were to much for him.I love the Navy ,they just need to slow down a little.
    There was a lot of Navy twin engine inflatables running around doing maneuvers.

    Common sense, if you see any activity of any sorts helicopters or ships stay well clear like a mile or two bud?!?!

    Sorry about Cole he should report it to the Navy security boats.

    Maybe the little ones. With the little skiff it's rare that you can get in range to catch tuna. As John Wayne would say;

    "That 'll be the day".

    It's not that hard to release a fish even in a small boat you will get plenty of shots slider
