Damn they are so vicious they bite baits 1/2 their size...thats what I love about em.....I bet they would bite a BBZ-1 if they had the opportunity

    your more than welcome SBK
BTW they were gotten in the surf fishing style with surf fishing equipment, from the rocks and from the rocky beach

this one, is the closeup of the next pic, with a 11ft rod and daiwa emcast reel
    [IMG]

rocky beaches have plenty of spotties, a perfect catch with the mirrolures suspending to avoid got snagged
    [IMG]
every spottie caught in th surf is C&R of course
    [IMG]

not a spottie but this is the light surf equipment 10ft rod 3/4oz lure with Sonora 4000 and 15lb mono, yo zury crystal minnow was after a spottie bass but a sierra mackerel got it first
    [IMG]

    thanks for your comments

    PS:
those plastics are 3" big hammer with 1/4oz jig, I have a full time fun with that same setup, spotties love the color, they were one after another, just one pic of them bitting because I was fishing solo session and dont wanted a dead one between pics and release.

Some of those baits in your first post look like 6in swimbaits ....those are some aggressive spotties
