    They are called “outrodders.” That will help your search.
    They can be found welded or with a hinge on the holder section also, which could be cool

    Have had them for a season, no issues thus far and it's not pitting or rusting or anything crazy

    Sweet. Do you run those out of an angled rod holder or one that is straight up? I was just now looking at the cost to add 15’ out riggers on my boat. This would be a much easier and CHEAPER solution.

    I have been using the ones pictured in the first post since 1997...they work great.

    I use them in the angled rod holder, only because that is the best place for them on my boat. They would work just fine in the straight up rod holder also.

    I feel you. I spent over $100 for 1 on Amazon (CE Smith) not too long ago for I think the same unit. Looks like I can get another one for $22 and change. Amarine brand.

    They look and feel solid. Only thing I would change out is the safety strap to coated wire or something more durable.
