Fueled up and grabbed some anchovies from San Pedro bait and headed out about 8 am. Beautiful day and flat calm. plan was to head out to the 150 load up on some sculpin and meter around for those last yellows. About a mile out from the break wall near the rockpile metered a huge school of bait on some structure. Drop a bait and instant hookup. Spot ended up producing multiple limits of good size sheep head and quite a few sand bass and calicos. Even quite a few large rockfish. All fish were released. Unfortunately can't find a sheep head bite like that when they are open for keep. Almost became a pain when trying to get more of the bass. Left them biting and headed out to 150. Not a single sculpin or yellow found. Marked the spot from earlier and headed back in. Tide went slack and bite completely turned off. Heading back out today to see if I can make something happen. Will upload some more photos later on.
