yep, its all about adapting to the conditions....meaning: match the hatch. If the fish are puking up squid, I go to a white, skirted jig. if they are puking up red crabs, or krill, it's tiger stripe all the way.thanks for the input, after all i read i had to try them. On my first go round this weekend, they were not biting very well all day. Boat got 25 between 13 people. I was using the pink and white with a squid teaser above it (my inexperience led to not catching one on the eds) i should have noticed the bite on squid and switched to white. Thank you for the awesome write up on how to use them, hopefully itll help me put some bigger quality fish and more of them in the boat!
Doin great!!! Just heading to San Antonio tomorrow, my nephew is getting married this Sunday All but 1 of my sisters will be there - little family reunion - should be a great time!!How you doing Harry?
Been hitting Key West every winter for 5 or more weeks, it will go next winter...........meanwhile, probably store it in Destin or somewhere in Florida, maybe Cocoa Beach, have not figured out all the details yet I got tired of missing alot of great fishing on the Emerald Coast, that won't happen any more We spend alot of time in and around Florida every year, parents are really not any younger and they are all here (there).Congrats on the new boat! How you going to tote that thing around in your travels, or are you just going to keep it stored away somewhere?
