Had to work Friday....rained out Saturday.... but got out Sunday! Launched sun up out of Dana Landing, got a half scoop of decent bait and headed south. Awesome conditions even though forecast was for rain, wind and a mild swell. Got a decent mixed bag and a full limit of Lings! (1)A bit of a tough bite but everyone on board took home some eaters.

Nice looking fillets, is that an electric knife in the photo?

    Wondering the same. Looks pristine.

    "F"

Guess I never quite learning. School me about how that electric knife works; particularly between the filet and skin. I only use those once a year for my turkey and the kids say "F", what's that?

Use it just like a regular fillet knife. Down to the spine, sideways and follow the spine, stop just shy of the tail, flip fillet over and follow the skin! Works really well and fast! This one is a fancy mister twister bs one....but all it is is the same thing you carve a turkey with. I have another kitchen variety one that I bought at a rummage sale in like new condition for a quarter put away in case I finally wear this one out. Only issue I have ever had with it is one time....and one time only, my hand was dripping wet and it shocked the shit out of me! So now I just keep a few paper towels handy to keep the hand I hold it with somewhat dry..... no more shocks....
