Guys,

I know this is not a fishing report but my friend and captain grew up fishing in San Diego and I am pretty sure had many friends in San Diego, but I have no clue who they are.

After battling his demons for many years, Captain Clark finally succumbed to them and took his life on July 4th, 2021 at the age of 53.

He was a great friend and great captain.

We are having a memorial for him in Ilwaco, Washington at the end of the summer.

If any of you know him and would like info on the memorial, please PM me.

It's always sad when these situations come up. We send our condolences to the family, and move on.
I always wonder if there were warning signs that went undetected? But most of us are too busy to look for the subtle signs of trouble.
Seems to be a troubling trend in suicides lately. I pray that people can ask for help. And I can listen or distinguish the signs of those in need.
This subject hits home with me.
I have a family member that's been suicidal since she found her bf ODed.
