    I think that they look great! Remember to have at least three feet of very heavy leader, I use 130#, because 19 times out of 20 they are struck from below and completely swallowed. The circle hook should bite the corner of the jaw, but a bluefin not only has teeth, he has rough pectoral fins and tail, and the line will pull against those as he runs away. Of course, if it turns out to be a cow tuna which is going to be about six feet long, you will wish that you had a rod-length of leader.

    You WILL get bit by a tuna on an artificial. You just have to keep being in the right area at the right time, and keep trying.
