Unfortunately we are dropping the app. Only 85 users on android that are using it. We could not get the app through Apples rules for no contests and no classifieds therefore it's a waste.
We are also changing the core code of the forum software for video upload functionality and the app will no longer work or be supported by Tapatalk.
There is also still the concern of security from the Tapatalk app allowing bots to post along with JavaScript injection in to the database through the app.
    Sorry for the hassle,

We are open to style changes in the mobile responsive version of the website per suggestions, list them here.

Aw man. The app was great when I was on the go and busy working. Jason get it running again. I don't mind pitching in some greens to help with it

Lack of a "new posts" filter like we have on the site in the app kind of turned me off. I'd rather not go into each forum individually. I ran a sports betting forum for a while and never found a suitable mobile option. It's tough.

I use the regular browser and am pretty immune to missing functionality as I have notifications turned on for the forums I am interested in. I get emails then click right from them. I'm all ears as to what you guys think is missing or messed up with the responsive (mobile) version of the current theme.

I am talking with the coders about a custom app solution but it will be 6+ months away to have coded.

What we are dropping in soon is video hosting right from a phone or desktop just like you would add a photo to a post. The current video hosting or lack thereof on this software sucks!.

Well I was one of the 85 users that liked the app. Apple users are their own special group of tree huggers. My chief complaint of the non Tapatalk web browser is the picture uploading. If you fix that AND some how have a icon to click on the phone to take me to BD OUTDOORS I will be golden.

Damn, this sucks! Mobile website is super laggy and glitchy. I'd gladly pay for the mobile app.

Lagging comes from trying to load TONS of ads and crap at the bottom of each page. After loading a page, the entire page jumps right after, making clicking links impossible until it's fully loaded.

Just bring the app back. Over 1,000 downloads and 21 positive reviews in just a few short months with hardly any advertising here about the app seems pretty damn good.

1000 downloads and only 85 of those remained installed. The app was promoted every time one visited the site from a regular browser on mobile. 2.5 million views a month on the mobile pop up on average.
Apple wouldn't let us in to the App Store because of our content after repeated try's.
Security problems, core code problems as we add functionality and plugins are not supported. Had to cut our losses on the app. The app is just a branded Tapatalk that is not customizable. Tapatalk also copies the whole site and rebrands it as Tapatalks which is stealing content and hurting us on search engines. https://www.tapatalk.com/topic/bloodydecks/ They also own all the ads that run in the apps and pay us literally $3.00/mo. Fuck Tapatalk...
Working on the responsive version per sugguestions. All the tapatalk users never said what was wrong with the mobile version of the site they just threw tantrums so nothing got worked on. Now it's time to work on it.
There has to be some ads, it's what pays for the whole company to stay in business. Clutter can be reduced and functionality added or fixed.
Thanks for the feedback I'll see what we can cut out.

I totally understand there has to be some ads for a free forum.

But this has to load every page...

Sorry, I design and build mechanical sht, so I can't tell you what is wrong other than it is SLLLLOOOWWW compared to using the Tapatalk interface. Tapatalk is also much more streamlined when it comes to saving and revisiting the forums I view, especially when a thorough site like BD can have many forums under many headings. Using bookmarks in chrome or any other browser just does not compare.
Seriously, if you tried them both and don't see the difference you should not be making decisions about the design of a web site.
