Want to recarpet the inside of my 2004 2320. There is carpet that I want to replace. Question: How do I get the passenger's (port) seat off of the deck? Is it glued on? Anybody done this before?

I recently removed mine. I think it was 5 screws total. Pretty easy.

The bench seat? The storage compartment is screwed into the raised portion of the deck with either 6 or 8 stainless steel wood screws. The seat back is held in place with 3 large L-shaped brackets screwed into the storage compartment. When I took mine out, it's much easier to take the seat back off of the storage compartment before trying to get the whole thing out of the pilothouse.

I'm in the process of removing mine out right now actually and can't see to get it out the door/cabin. Might have to remove the door frame or cut the fiberglass.

on my 2007 boat, no problem fitting through the door but on the 2018 I had to remove the seat from the base in order to fit through the door.

Strange, my Parker year is a 2002. Removed the base, but still didn't fit through the door from all sorts of angles.
