Wow. That's FN SO COOL.!!!
Must be in Florida.
Miami River, I'm thinking.
But it's been a long time since I was there. That was a pretty shady area back in '82
Well that was impressive!!! Congrats to those guys!!
It’s ft Lauderdale. It’s actually just a canal off of the inter coastal water way but some people call it the new river. Those goliaths are a nuisance.
The real treasure is the pile of $10 bills on the bottom on the other side of that canal at the doorway of the orange/brown building. The tournament sailfish guys throw them down there for good luck.
It looked like the fish coughed up a swim fin during the fight. Might not be a good place to snorkle dive. Very impressive fish!
That makes my nuts hurt
I don't know about putting the butt of the rod between my legs. That could lead to some serious unforeseen consequences...
Exactly... what if the fish goes nuts?
I can barely understand what I just saw, it was so awesome, and now I want to go fish off a ramp.
If I lived somewhere I could catch stuff like that from the shore, I might not ever make it to work.
Too many bull sharks to even think about swimming ever.....I bet the night time fishing is even better
Pretty cool Bill. Thanks for posting it.
Dig around on youtube and you will find all kinds of crazy stuff with folks fishing in storm drains and small canals catching peacock bass and tarpon.
New Long Range charter out of San Diego. Load up the bus and drive to Florida. Sleep in a tent and fish for 6 days then drive home. Not sure what rod and reel is best for goliath grouper in the storm drain though.
You talkin about a reel singin that reel was singin, that's what i'm talkin bout... Work it now, work it, work it...
In California you would probably be fined for fishing spots like that.
No pun intended?
Oh pun intended for sure Rick. You know me
Insane giant fish action. I really like the live well too.
Thanks for putting that up Bill.
The storm drain action for bass was pretty cool too.
Looks like a lot of fun!
