Has anyone installed and used a Arimar 1kw transom mount transducer?
I ordered one on line and was surprised on how big it is when it arrived.
Wondering if the performance of this unit is better when compared with the standard 600W transom mount transducer.

Any feed back would be appreciated.

Did not like drilling a 3in hole on the bottom of the boat so installed 1K watt transom mount. it works great.

Mine did that at first too.Set it a little deeper and now it holds bottom to about 22 mph. Also didn't use supplied screws..drilled and tapped transom for stainless machine screws..no gel-coat cracking that way...TM-260 rocks..
