Heard day one of the most recent Maximus trip was pretty good with decent numbers of fish in the 125 to 165LB range. Have not gotten any further updates so unsure of how the rest of trip went but should know in the next couple of days how is end up. Leaving on Oct 8th for a 3.5 trip on the Maximus, will most definitely post when I return. Wish there were more reports posted!

The reason you are not seeing reports, there are not that many people fishing. The ocean has settled down from recent storms and there are none coming right now. The boats going out have been catching Marlin, Sailfish, Pargo, Wahoo, and Dorado near Corbetena. Further out hey are catching as usual nice YFT, and killing them up by San Juanito, but that is a overnight trip. The Tuna should be moving in closer as the water starts to cool off. The good boats like the Dhamar, Marlas, Dos Amigos, Anna Marie, etc. will get you some nice fish almost quaranteed. The fish are here just not the fishermen.

We will be fishing with Danny Osuna and his brothers Oct 5,6,8,9. I will let you guys know how it goes. I am sure the fishing will be awesome, never been there this time of year and not caught anything. I'm not worried at all.
