:Dynamite:Sat trolled the whole NS of molokai. got one mahi and lost em at gaff. Was pretty dead otherwise. Ran the 1000 all the way to T and then to U, NAda on either bouy. I hear i should have tried MM, and was going to hit it but the GPS was freaking out and could locate it. Today we trolled the 50 outside HK all the way around the corner outside RAbbit island. Found some birds and even saw a mahi look at the corner. Neva bite tho. Again skunkd. faaak. Tomorrow we going SW and gonna keep pushing throttle until we get a fish in the box...damn... hope my crew bring the gas money...:2gunsfiring_v1:

Had plenty of skunk over the years. Keep going! One good day will make you forget about all the bad ones. BTW....trolling has been kind of slow lately...notice how few catch reports have been on blood decks lately.

Grab some damashi and make up some bottom fish rigs and try the inside when the bite is slow outside.

Persistance paid off yesterday. We went 30 miles out SW of honolulu harbor. Made a pass by BO on the way there, had 5 boats working it. Could see mahi again but the buggas wouldnt bite. Headed 15 miles further in the same direction and set up. As Justin was handing me the center SNAP the thing comes ripping out of my fingers. HANAPAA! thought it came off but kept reeling em in. Seen color behind the line, get me to the boat and flip em, nothing but net, straight in the box. Kept working the area but no more nothing. Head back to BO and everybody left, make 2 passes, 2 more mahi. YES! Stoked! Head in happy with fish in the box.

Way to go Billy and crew... Nice to get some blood in the box, it sure sounds like you guys covered some miles over the last few trips.

    Cheers

Mahalo Billy! The last few days have been epic. Great job on following your gut and putting fish in the box!

This is one of our mahi from Monday on the way to Lana'i.
