Shoulda known better than to teach the wife to Jig fish. She pulls a hatchery fish out of our go to drift on every trip. She has even started calling it her "fish drift" and correcting me on depth and drop location . I have to leave her home just so I can catch a fish now and then.

Bravo, looks like they were feeding on candle-fish based on your jig. Did their gut show anything?

Great job....boy that background looks familiar for some reason...

Awesome. Didn't even know that was possible! Must be cool to feel the hit.

All of them were puking candlefish or had candlefish in their guts. The bloody one puked out 4 on the deck and had 4 more in its gullet. The Nickle Green Dart does a good job imitating them. I am sure you have seen those shorelines before.

It's awesome when they are gorging on the bait. No screwing around with your gear, just good solid, determined hits.

Nice work there.
