UPDATE on DIXIE!

At least she's out of the hospital, for now. She's out of pain. We have the diagnosis complete now, Pulmonary Fibrosis.
Eventually it will be very ugly, painful.

But we had a great weekend together, lotta laughs, lotta remembering old times, good and bad. Just as I left, she was being transferred to an excellent extended care place associated with the hospital.

I felt good, got to make my mom laugh a lot, wiped the oatmeal off her chin. Simple things, and it felt good to be of service to her.

Thanks to all of you, she's doing ok today. I believe in the power of prayer and positive thinking.
