I heard the PBer yell “I didn’t do shit to you guys” then the pride’s customers started to yell stuff and it went downhill from there. Funny thing was there was another boat that was closer off their stern and actually caught their line. They were playing tug o war funny sight to see...

Just throw full limits of tuna into the blatant poaching boats. Then they will have to leave. Limited out

    Throw them like a football

    This was a Pride incident.

I thought everyone is supposed to be happy and gay at a pride event?

And this Is why I bought a retirement home in Montana: almost no people. When I do meet up with people on a float, they are all pleasant to deal with. I don’t care that the fish are bigger and fight harder in the salt; I’m out there for the experience.

I hardly ever side with the fleet strictly because there are so many here that treat the fleet as if they’re untouchable.

But, coming from someone that lost an eye due to someone throwing a rock (this was an accident) this behavior is nearly NEVER acceptable. As bad as it fucked my life, I’m lucky because had it hit me in the head, I could have been killed. The same situation applies here. I hope this incident was truly reported and hope the guy will be charged with assault with a deadly weapon.

I was 10 when I lost my eye. I’d hate to think of what I would do if my son would have been on the boat and hit by the sinker...but I doubt it would not have been Christ like.

We all get caught up in the moment, but this man truly needs help. No fish, no spot, no lure is worth this.

It’s just rat tuna. Calm TF down.

We all encounter rude people. The ones who stay out of jail and lawsuits are those who just let them be and move along.

Sport boats think they own the banks. Not surprised if the Pride just rolled up and said fuck you. Two sides to every story.

I think it was during the El Niño of a couple years ago that I had my “Falling Down” moment. 1.5 hour wait in the bait line. Then get out fishing and if you were stopped, fighting fish on a kelp paddy, you were soon joined by 10 other boats. It used to be that the ocean was a wide open escape from the masses. It had turned into bait line and kelp paddy rage. I will still fish the salt, as I feel that I have unfinished business out there, but it is no longer the end all.

It happens both ways.. sporty towards private and private vs sporty.. everyone's balls get inflated when they hit water. I don't agree with anyone throwing irons / lures at other boats. We just live in a world with a lack of respect.
