Selling my dad's boat. We've had it for about 13 years, and put the outboard on brand new. It's been out as far as the San Salvador Knoll chasing albacore, down past the 425-371 area for dodos, yellowfin, and marlin. We got a few bluefin on it last year at the 43.

-2005 Suzuki DF140 ~1000hrs & regular maintenance
-1983 Chris Craft Scorpion 213 hull
-the transom flexes but we've fished it like that for some time
-60 gal fuel tank (original)
-Lowrance HDS 5/transom mount transducer
-bait tank works well w/ 1/2 scoop
-heavy duty triple axle galvanized trailer (the green one in the pictures)

It will plane at about 4500 rpm with a normal offshore load and 3 guys. Average ~2.5-3 mpg per trip.

$5400.
Located in Pacific Beach

Beam 8' 0", 2300 lbs dry. Looks to be close to 8'10" with that substantial trailer.
Would have a pro survey her. Many ifs; the transom, floor, stringers, fuel tank, well there's a lot of potential resto to be done, but if not, well then this is a very cool classic with beautiful lines, dry ride and a Suzuki engine that should hum along for another 10 years or more without any problems. GLWB ;)

Thank for the reply. Beam should be 8’. I’m not close to the boat right now but that sounds right.
The transom needs attention that’s for sure. The deck and stringers I am not sure about. There are no soft spots in the deck and the fuel tank is original. I have juggled with the idea of doing a complete resto on this thing for a long time... it’s a great riding hull & pretty darn fuel efficient. I wish I had the means to do a hull-up restoration but it’ll have to wait a few years. For now this is still for sale.

Is the trailer 3 axels or 2 axels! Slick looking boat and the lines on it is badass!

I don’t know much about boats, just was wondering how much it would cost approximately to do the resto you mentioned?
I’m no boat expert either. I don’t know the cost of doing the transom repair but I think if you did it yourself you could have this boat in good shape for less than or about 10k- purchase included. The outboard is in great shape, my dad started it the other day and it started first try.
The restoration I had in mind was something along the lines of a Cabo 216 with a small buddy for overnighting, which would be more expensive and a ton more work. The boat is set up well the way it’s laid out now though.

Still available.
These Chris Craft hulls have facilitated some very big dead bluefin locally the last few years! Very worthy of restoration. If I wasn't neck deep in a house renovation I would be all over it.
