I hope that’s from the one I stepped on at warm water jetty Seal Beach while heading out to surf in ‘69. That freakin hurt.

I wanted so badly to do that to the skull of my 360 lb. Yellowfin, one week of smelling it while waiting for the flesh eating beetles to arrive by mail made me think otherwise. My loss for sure

One guy I knew would tie it up on his tree to avoid the stink. Not too sure how high he got up, lol. He said the ants would usually come and eat off most of the meat. A 360lb head would be pretty big though, lol.

Not too sure if you eat raw fish, but there is another dish with skate wings cut into small pieces. It's prepped in a cold spicy noodle with veggies (bibim nengmyun). Not all come with skate, usually beef, but if you get the one with skate, it's good.

It sure was. And it oozed all kinds of nasty too. Even inside three black trash bags it reeked like a mofo.

It was the only fish I’ve ever seen that had to be turned vertical to make it through the gate. I’ll probably never see that again.
