Have multiple Phenix Axis rods and Iove then, but one of them is starting to show cracks in the area between the fore grip and blank. The rod is less than a year old too. Poor choice of materials if you ask me.
Is this normal? Any advice on if it’s possible to replace or repair? I know nothing about rod repair.

I warrantied my phenix rod when the guides starting coming off the rod. I just call them up and describe the issue to them and they told me to send in the rod or drop by the main office in Bellflower, Ca. They swapped the rod for a brand new equivalent rod. Easy peasy. This was two years ago, but I’m pretty sure they still honor the warranty swap outs. Call the office to be sure or check the link below.

That's just the winding check/hosel.I'd be surprised if that was covered under warranty.

Cool, thanks. Maybe I’ll email them and see what they say. I wouldn’t expect them to replace the rod, it’s more of annoyance than anything considering they aren’t the cheapest rods out there
