rivermarinesupply.com still had some of them for $330, but shipping's going to run you about $10.

Are they still for sale???? I think my dad needs one for Christmas so I can use it during my LR trips...Is penn coming out with a whole new line of reels in the new year. I have heard some rumors and it seems funny that they are liquidating some of the older models...

I've also heard rumors about Penn coming out with new reels in the International "V" series. It makes sense, several retailers selling at 30-40% of retail for a top of the line reel, which almost never go on sale...

RMS still had the 30S and 50S on clearance yesterday.

Just wondering, is the 50s is not the same as the 50vsv correct? it has the previous generation looking frame and less capacity correct? its time to get a 50w kuz my biggest outfit is a 30w at the moment that i fish 80# usually and 100# when i have to.
