I have 500 yards 80lbs braid maxcuatro (white) and 500 yards 80lbs berkley prospec (multi color metered) braid. Will both fit the spool with room for topshot? I had 100lbs maxcuatro which fit 500 meters to the brim but didnt have room for topshot.

I wanna use the prospec for the metered color, but if it wont fit with topshot ill just return ir

That is plenty of line for that reel. Set the drag to 20 lbs of drag at strike and you will be fine. I have caught plenty of tuna to 150 lbs on that setup and never once felt like I was going to run out of line.

200# BFT with FTH 40NLD2 with 525 yards of white ProSpec, didn't even come close to getting spooled. 10 ft top shot.. Don't overthink it.

Yeah, you aren't getting 500 yards of 100# braid on that reel, plus, the 40N is NOT a 100# braid reel.
