PCS vs Hall Show

I am not from Southern Cal and may only make it to one show this year. If you were in my position would it be the PCS or the Bart Hall show?

Hoping the new Bart Hall show is just like the ole fred hall - lots of vendors got burned a couple year back with the fred hall tabuckle and may not return or decide to only attend the PCS show.

Personally, I love the PCS show. Its close to home, parking is easy, OC fair grounds is a great venue, and its easy to get all my fishing friends together.

Out of town=HALL SHOW....The PCS show a great little show here in Costa Mesa, great for those in the OC area. The Hall Show in LB or SD is massive with Fishing, Hunting, more vendors. 100'S OF THEM!

I'm in Costa Mesa near the Fairgrounds so close and easy. Lot of vendors I've known over years.
Went to Hall show in Long Beach for eons...that's a marathon walk.

Fred Hall was the go to show for years but after last years mishap it seems the PCS Show will be the one to attend this coming year

We cant really go by the old fred hall show,We have to wait and see what the new bart hall show will look like.I wish bart the best of luck as he has big shoes to fill.

The PCS show is tiny compared to the Fred Hall show. If the Bart Hall show is even a shadow of it it’ll be way bigger than the PCS show.

We will once again have a long string of booths at the Bart Hall show in Long Beach with great deals on a huge array of fishing related products... I understand this year, the show, will also include Fly fishing and RV Expos.

The Long Beach show tends to be, by far and away, the largest and most wide ranging show of the bunch.

It will be interesting to see if the Hall show can get back all the regular vendors. PCS is definitely getting better by the year. I personally like the PCS show better because it's more focused on saltwater.

The Bart Hall show at this time is an unknown quantity, the PCS is much smaller and more focused on saltwater fishing with some electronics thrown in.

Check out both shows? You folks are correct……PCS Show was 1 building for 11 years…..last year it grew to 3 halls….Next year 2023 the PCS Show is the entire Orange County fairgrounds…we are humbled and thankful for the industry support of our show….your mind will be blown……..if you keep up on our Facebook or instagram you will see that we have every fishing brand you would dream of…we have been announcing two a day for months and we will not get everyone mentioned before the show….tons of boats ……freshwater added this year and any trip you would want from the Amazon to the Yukon…also all the landings and sportboats will be there….It is not the same PCS Show it was 5 years ago……..this will be the largest So Cal fishing show of the year……..The BDoutdoors gang will have a large booth as well………March 2,3,4,5 you will not be disappointed……

If it's gear for Central CA down to Cabo, PCS may be your best bet since that's what it caters to If PCS gets the big vendors. Otherwise the Hall show will have more diversity and possibly more large vendors.

Easier parking, cheaper tickets, and still some decent deals to be had. Last couple of Fred Hall shows, all I ended up getting were some t shirts since there wasn't anything I needed and not many deals worth splurging on.

Appreciate the kind words….with the entire OC Fairgrounds it’s like going to the Orange County fair but all the best fishing brands…..if there is any brand or shop you are curious if they will be there let me know….the list is hundreds long……we are not releasing it yet for obvious reasons……all the big brands, all the landings, every apparel brand, all the reel company’s, all the rods you would want, all the fluorocarbon brands, all the hook companies ….all the big retailers including 40X160 feet of Turners alone…Melton Tackle, Island Tackle, Fisherman’s Landing Tackle, Ketcham Tackle, Tackle Express , Fisherman’s Access…..there are more!!!! All the boats you would want to see including the West Coast debut of the Mag Bay 43…Parker, Grady White, Robalo…tons more….just ask.…..if you look on our social media we have been announcing 2 a day and we will never get through all of our vendors…….

We hope you all come out and see the largest fishing show in Southern California…..
