Probably better than Saturday and Sunday. Last year it expanded from 3 to 4 building. This year will expand to 7 buildings.

So I’m looking to buy a Makaira MK50IISEa spooled with 100lb HC. What kind of discount, deal or price can I expect if I wait until the show?
Also looking at a PCH 80-130 XXXH casting rail rod and wondering if there will be deals to be had or should I just buy now?

If you’re looking for the items brand new, sometimes from 10-20% off the msrp so don’t expect a super great deal but maybe you might get lucky. Charkbait usually does their yearly sale around the same time in store with 20% off all items. You can find some pop into the classifieds every now and then if you check consistently. I believe I saw a 50 on Facebook marketplace around the LA area.

Thinking I might hit this up. Been to (Fred) Hall before. They're great, but never to OC show. Advisory, and I'll probably put the same on Bart Hall thread: went to FHS in Long Beach prior to pandemic. Bought stuff on my credit card, then went to dinner outside before making the drive back to San Diego. Credit and debit cards were both blocked! Scrounged around for $ for gas home. Called credit union Monday morning with the "WTF". Was told one vendor was using a card reader from his hometown in Florida when all others were Cali. Security measures kicked in and blocked all further transactions without me noticing. Didn't have my cell with me for some reason when they tried calling me, that's why they blocked further transactions. Lesson learned: might want to call your banking people and advise you may be buying from multiple vendors from different locations/States within a few hours of one another. Wouldn't hurt to make that phone call in advance.

I appreciate what you have to say……last year when no one was able to produce a show for the sportfishing industry, we did…..3 halls that were full of great vendors and products without the filler. This year we have 7 halls and the main mall taking the whole grounds. Our vendor list is more than three times last year. All of the great manufacturers , just about every Sportboat landing, many of the long range boats, tons of tackle dealers and the best in boats and travel, without the filler booths. Please take a look and come out and join us…..you will not be disappointed……

It was great last year in my opinion! May be not as big as some hoped, but with all the BS with Covid I was more then satisfied! Nevertheless, it was great to be around people again. Ended up buying all my needs and the vendors were all grateful of my business. Well Done! I will be returning this year!

At these shows sometimes the best deals can be the afternoon of the last day. Bargaining at its best. Does the vendor want to pack it back up and take it or sell it. Stuff sells out so have to be open to what is available.
