Wow CONGRATS on your NEW PB Tony! Nice Fish!
Not as big as yours, but close...
After reading some of your posts, i dont think you really need any more help catching fish. You seem to be a pretty fishy guy.
Nice catch. Weird these fish are biting around noon these days as that was when I was bite on mine a few days ago.
We literally were out all night and get bit in the last minutes of our trip. I don't think that timing really matters...
Appreciate the additional info.
That's a pretty incredible story...spending all night at Izors for seabass.....striking out (more or less).....and then getting one while cleaning fish....classsic.
love all the shimano gear posts. great job tony
Hey guys. My buddy Jim and I are looking for a new fishing partner. Anyone interested?
Tell the real story Tony! Hahahaha
I believe you were sleeping while Jim and I were cleaning fish.
I sunk that gaff into our fish (Jim and I)pretty good huh?
Jason, don't hate! Lol!!! Are you sure you weren't off breaking people's brand-new Promar nets or anything! This thread made me laugh my ass off...
I'm so in next time! I want to stay up all day and then sleep all night while you fish and I will wake up when you're going to start cleaning!!! Classic.
Dan, I unfriend you.
Anyways. Call me when the next trip is close. Hahahaha.
Sweet fish. Congrats!
That ghost is my nemesis, great catch dude. Had a follower close to that size get within 10 feet of boat at West End Saturday. While cleaning fish? Damn! Some day.
We've all heard the saying, "When you stop fishing for WSB is when you start catching them"
Congrats on your PB, it's a beauty!!!
Congrats Enigma! I knew that you'd one day get a keeper fish over 10 lbs aboard the vessel Enigma.....I never lost faith in you Jim. That learning curve sure takes years and years doesnt it!
Id say about 35# of Gay fish. Fine job. Still waiting for the real showing up north here. Only a handful of 15-20# so far.
Congrats on the new PB. How do you know what weight to beat now?
Tony did you make squid at night, nice fish congrats.
We tried to make squid at izors but couldn't get a good float going. Ended up buy it from LB Carnage. Totally worth it.
My last pb was about 30. This fish is considerably bigger. I'd say 45-50.
Nice one! Congrats!!!
Say what you will, but perhaps my taking a quick nap changed our luck. OH and don't forget you slept all night while I stayed up and fished. Its not my fault I am a better fisherman than you!
