Parker 2120 part II build

I previously had a 08’ Parker 2120 that I posted here and sold it when I got relocated. The wife’s job was in WV, and I was inland in SC. She got relocated to Charleston so I picked up this 07 model and now going to figure out east coast waters and build accordingly. I’ll add more pics as the process goes along, like my other thread

Well, after taking her to the shop and getting a clean bill of health, I put it in storage for the winter. The weather is getting better out here in South Carolina, so it’s time to get her on the water this weekend. I still can’t believe it only has 287 hours on the motor .

I had contemplated selling it while it was in storage but now that it’s out I have plans to build it again possibly like the last one I had.

So now that I finally have some time off of work, I decided to compound and polish the hull. I will hit it all with some sealer once I do the pilot house. Hit it Ardex 600 with a wool pad, Menzerna 400 with a wool pad, Menzerna 400 with a Flex 3401 VRG and a foam pad. I’ll seal it all up with some Jescar once it’s all done. The shine has really come back to the boat and I couldn’t be happier. Then it’s time to fix the bottom paint

if you look at the picture of the transom, you can see how dull and chalky the gel coat was. As soon as water would hit it, it would absorb and immediately dry up.

Now it’s time for electronics, I ordered the Furuno TZ Touch 3 today for the Parker. The transducers are currently on back order so I will have to wait a little while for the that. It feels like another build coming along

Day three of waxing the boat, I got the pilot house taken care of and applied Jescar sealant to the entire boat, she is now shining

Well, the electronics are starting to arrive, next will be the Furuno Radar that I ordered

Time to add a little window tint to get some privacy inside the PH like my last one.

Tint looks so good! What percent did you? And did you do all the windows?

Thanks, I used 20%. I only did the sides and the back (minus the PH door)

Picked up an extreme bait tank local to my area to keep my baits alive while out on the lake. Just have to wire it up and it’s ready to install. I had to clean it up as well

Found a hell of a deal on marketplace for a Yeti 160. Time to remove the passenger side bench on the Parker and install this to have an on board cooler and kill box!

Time to get some cushions for it

Removed the bench seat and cleaned up all the mess. Luckily this yeti fit with the air conditioner installed behind just perfect (my last Parker didn’t have air conditioning and I didn’t take that into consideration). Anyways, now to get the seat top and back rest upholstered

The Parker is at the shop getting its airmar B175m through hull transducer installed. Decided I would take this time to cut some decals for the tank and yeti.

I had to represent BDOUTDOORS here in South Carolina as well

I love the tinting idea. Do you have any issues boating at night? That would be my concern.

Got with Flyhigh123 and ordered some more rocket launchers for the Parker and they were an easy install and look great. I also mounted the bait tank in the boat as well as the yeti. Yeti is back ordered on the cushion so I’ll have to wait until they are available again.

Added in some Big Jon’s rod holders and some monster rod holders to the Parker. Also added a fillet station in the rear. I have been doing some lake fishing recently and having a blast doing it until I can get out to the salt water again.
