    I had an old Marauder, back when bonita's we're labeled Marauder that stopped the boat 16 times in a row in 1988. I would pass my rod to the next troll group. Not quite as chewed up as Rubberhook's but getting there. The 17th bite went through the 400# cable, darn... wanted to put that lure on a plack.

    Egg plant hooker Intruder xl is the best wahoo lure I've ever used. Last trip in March it out fished three Marauders two to one.

    Mark Smith at Charkbait reports and ownership change at Braid, promising improvement in quality and probably better availability. I like the Dorado pattern (Ugly Betty's twin sister) but have been impressed with the Skipjack pattern as well.

    Two best colors for me have been Black/Purple, and White "Tony the Tiger". Orange/Black has also worked well. I actually use a 32 ounce jet head, with Black and purple skirts seperated with siver mylar, as it is something different, and gets bit very well.

    Hey Pete,
    You nailed it. When we go into production, eggplant will be the 1st color we will be releasing. The best part is, we have the original paint codes and ratios to mix the purple eggplant.
