I have accepted a deal to run the boat. A known boat to me and an owner whobis dedicated to the boat....will be a welcome change. AS ALWAYS.....I am willing to talk to those who call in the phone or radio.....looking forward to running a sportboat again.
So once again I am a commercial sportfisher.

I have fished that boat a few times . Its a pretty sweet boat. I believe it 49 ft by about 20 ft wide. Haven't fished the boat in a few years. Congratulations Troy. Is the boat gonna stay down south or move to Westport?

Tom still owns the boat. It will be out of Illwaco. It is marketed at 56' and yes it's a little hoquim. Yes Cory will be around. ....we are trying to determine what she wants to do....I have some ideas.....
I said I was out unless the right deal came along......it came.along.

Its a beautiful,boat... I am friend with the owner of Little Hoquiam boats and Howard only builds very top notch boats! Welcome to Ilwaco!...I had Howard on board tuna fishing about 3 years ago and pulled up to the fuel dock...there was a commercial boat there that he recognized in an instant...he had built the boat in 1976 and knew it from bow to stern!

Hay Troy, congrats on the new gig. It will be a nice change of pace.

A little bit of trivia. As you & Mark said, Howard Moe built it at Hoquiam. But it is very different from his standard 52 Ft charter boat hull. My understanding is that Howard acquired the mold from Thermodyne / Marysville for their 50-something charter boat. There are a number of those up & down the coast. My brother owned & operated one for many years. It's way beamer than the standard 52 Hoquiam.

Howard may have modified that mold... stretched it a little to build the Pac. Dream.

Mark, next time you talk to him ask him about that mold. I may be wrong. :-)
