He's talking about Pesca La Baja -San Felipe and saying the the winner of the tournament was a yellowtail. Have you ever seen a yellowtail caught in the San Felipe area?..............Fraud?

Can't you guys read Spanglish?.......................Well, I think that's what he is trying to say.

I'm shocked, SHOCKED to learn that a fish tournament is not completely honest! ! I mean, if you can't trust a fisherman to tell the truth, then what is the world coming to?

I've never fished SF but I know plenty of Penasco anglers regularly go out to the 50 mile reef and catch all kinds of stuff that wouldn't be considered local fish, YT, White and black seabass, Giant gulf grouper etc. guys have even hooked sails and marlin out there. I think its about the same distance from San Felipe So I guess it depends on if there was enough time in the tournament to travel out that far.
Also worth mentioning that sportfishing in the northern Sea of Cortez had been on a real uptick a few years ago with the gill net ban. I remember seeing small dorado and YT being caught less than 10 miles from Penasco. I think that's gone now but its plausible to see those fish within range of San Felipe. other guys who fished the tourney should have a pretty good idea if they cheated.

I fishd the san felipe tuorny last year with rockodile john we fishd the golden reef,55 miles south of san felipe,so did 10 or more boats,it took us 1.5 houres to get there,we didn't find the fish but plenty of yellowtail, grouper, seabass and other fish make the reef there home.
