Can’t believe this is my first bug trip of the season. Have had too many flake on me so I said screw it, let’s do it on my own.

Just me and the yak tonight to see how the year is gonna start.

Last time we went bugging it took a little while we hit 2 limits but we got so many shorts before that

Out there the last two nights it’s been slow seeing a lot of shorts as well, the crawl has been later lately good luck be safe and keep us posted

Wasn’t my night last night as keepers were concerned. Had one good one come up with 2 sculpin. While working around the sculpin the sole keeper flapped out of a hole in the net I hadn’t noticed after the trap had gotten stuck on the bottom earlier in the night.

Oh well….. it was an absolutely beautiful night and got some good on the water time.
